I wish! This is one of the Nativity scenes on display last Christmas. I don't know if it was a competition because there was no information and nobody to ask.
This is lovely, Mara. :) I saw the one on your last post. Where was the nativity display? I'm in the Algarve again next week and will be heading to Vila Real de S. Antonio. Do you know of any other places with good nativity scenes?
This display was in Algoz. Sometimes they are organised by the local schools or by the parish or by the shopkeepers' associations to draw people to their shops. I don't know if there is one in Algoz this year. I know there is one in Guia but I haven't seen it yet. It's a pity they aren't properly advertised.
No, it is a bit hit and miss! Funnily enough, a walking friend had been to Tavira with her husband a few years ago, and seen the display at Vila Real. I've never been at a time of year when I could go. I wasn't sure if there would be any Epiphany processions on 5th January, or if that was purely a Spanish affair. Sorry to hear about your poor health. Hope you've got it sorted.
Looks cute, did you make it? Blue is my favourite colour too...

DeleteVery different and I also like the color.
