I've decided to do a catch-up post with squares and angles, circles and curves and lines. I hope nobody minds. 

I'm skipping the one-colour post - it was taking too long to choose just one colour, then the day job and the bad weather got in the way... I simply haven't had the time to do Cee's challenges, however much I enjoy them.

Cee's Fun Foto challenge: Rainbow colours

Cee has challenged us to show off a few photos of rainbow colours, so here goes:

Let's start with an actual rainbow:

And continue with a beach:

I'm trying to catch up. Last week our challenge was to show off a few photographs in red, white or red and white together.

I love red cars. This was the first car I ever bought - red, of course.

Cee's Fun Foto challenge: Black and White

This week our challenge is to show off a few Black and White or Sepia toned photographs.

I have chosen one very old, black and white snap of a family outing to the beach. I have no idea who took it - it was probably one of those photographers you used to find at strategic spots hoping that visitors would agree to having a picture taken.

The reason I have chosen this snap is that the very special person who sent it out to my mother when we were living in Zimbabwe passed away this Monday.

In loving memory of my very special aunt, now in her eighties, a wonderful wife and mother, a woman with a fantastic sense of humour. RIP.

Cee's Fun Foto challenge: Wood

Wood/Spring: Wind, Moisture, Air, Minerals, Ink, Mind, Rubber, Paper, Plants, Poison, Wax, Dissolve, Carbon, Clouds, Health, Space... all part of the challenge this week.

Well, I've been hibernating for a whole week now, so I had a look at my stash of photos and came up with these shots:

Boardwalk to Salgados beach and spring flowers on the dunes.

I wonder what the original tree looked like.

Same tree trunk/stump, different angle, different month.

Boardwalk at Alvor beach under a a pale-blue sky full of fluffy clouds.
